A Handmade Card for a Friend with Cancer

Do you have a close friend or loved one who is suffering from cancer and want to make them something special to let them know how much you care?  I do.  I have three friends right now that are going through the awful chemo therapy treatments.

Two of my friends have breast cancer and my other friend has lung cancer.

I decided to create a handmade card and then write a special note of encouragement for each them using the new Ribbon of Courage stamp set.

Sometimes store bought cards just don’t say the right thing. They are not personal enough. By making your own card you can have it say whatever you want and use the colors that show support for the different causes.

The lung cancer support ribbon is pearl white.  To make the ribbon a more pearl like I added wink of stella

Nobody wants to hear the news that someone close to them has cancer but you will be glad that you have this stamp set in your collections so you can make them a heartfelt card that tells them how much you care.
