My great nephew’s 2nd birthday was this weekend. And of course I wanted to make a 2nd birthday card that was special and one of kind just for him. In this post I’m going to share with you how to make a 2nd birthday card using Stampin’ Up!’s Number of Years stamp set.
It’s always so much fun being with my family. I especially love it when it involves a party. My niece invited everyone over to her house for a fun time of cake and watching the delight in the eyes of a two year old as he opens all the presents from his family and friends. These gatherings are also very special when father is able join.

I sell Stampin’ Up! card making supplies so it only seemed right to make my great nephew’s 2nd birthday card myself. The Number of Years stamp set makes it easy to make a card for any specific year birthday. I made a card back in November of last year for my sister’s Grandmother-in-law’s 95th birthday you can see HERE
Card Details
Before I assembled my card I created a background by sponging Lemon Lime Twist for grass and Pool Party for sky on a piece of Whisper White card stock. I stamped “look who’s turning” in Night of Navy. Next I glued a number 2 cut from Daper Denim cardstock under that. I fussy cut the raccoon from the Birthday Memories paper and lifted him up on Stampin’ Dimentionals.
Then I used another piece of Birthday Memories paper to mat it and glued it all onto a Whisper White card base.
