Its time for another card sketch tutorial! This is aquick card to make and perfect when you have a focal image like a flower you want to highlight. In this tutorial, I show you how I go from card sketch to card while I explain step by step my creative process in creating this beautiful floral encouragement card.

Card Measurements
- card base Whisper White Thick 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Love What You Do designer series paper 1″ x 5-1/2″
- Tranquil Tide cardstock 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
- Whisper White cardstock 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
Card Instructions
- Stamp flower outline on WW cardstock in Tranquil Tide
- then use the color fill stamps for the flowers in Mint Macaron , use the stamp off method for the larger flower fill and full saturation for the inside flower fill
- Cut the flowers out using a layer oval
- Cut a scalloped oval that is larger than the flower oval from Tranquil Tide cardstock
- Adhere the two ovals together
- Tape the designer paper strip an inch away from the fold of the card
- Glue the oval layer over the strip near the bottom of the card
- Stamp a sentiment on the precut tag
- Cut burlap ribbon 3″ and snip a flag tail on one end
- Tie twine around the burlap ribbon
- Adhere the ribbon to the bottom of the oval layer with strong adhesive
- Use dimensionals to attach the tag over the ribbon
