In today’s tutorial I’m going to show you how to create a dreapery fold card. Complete with step by step instructions and video.
This card design is great for using up your 12 x 12 paper stash. You can get 4 cards with one 12 x 12 sheet
Instructions
- Cut the Designer Paper in half to 6″ x 12″
- Score at 2″, 3″, 5″, 6″, 8″, 9″ and 11″
- Mark 1″ from bottom left and 1″ from top right short sides
- Cut diagonal using the 1″ marks as a guide
- Accordian fold to create drapery
- Attach drapery fold to a card layer 4″ X 5-1/4″ Trim if necessary
- Glue a 1/2″ strip across top edge of drapery fold
- Stamp sentiment where the drapes are pulled back
- Add a focal image and embellish as desired
- Adhere the drapery fold layer to a card base
