Step by Step Guide for a Drapery Fold Card

In today’s tutorial I’m going to show you how to create a dreapery fold card. Complete with step by step instructions and video.

This card design is great for using up your 12 x 12 paper stash. You can get 4 cards with one 12 x 12 sheet

Instructions

1. Cut the Designer Paper in half to 6″ x 12″
2. Score at 2″, 3″, 5″, 6″, 8″, 9″ and 11″
3. Mark 1″ from bottom left and 1″ from top right short sides
4. Cut diagonal using the 1″ marks as a guide
5. Accordian fold to create drapery
6. Attach drapery fold to a card layer 4″ X 5-1/4″ Trim if necessary
7. Glue a 1/2″ strip across top edge of drapery fold
8. Stamp sentiment where the drapes are pulled back
9. Add a focal image and embellish as desired
10. Adhere the drapery fold layer to a card base
