Today, I want to share a delightful Halloween craft that was requested by my daughter for her young boys. With their classmates in mind, I brainstormed and came up with the perfect quick and easy project. Let’s dive right in and explore this fun crafting idea together.
Measurements
- 6″ square of Designer Series Paper
- 1″ x 8-1/2″ Colored Cardstock and scrap for the Decorative circle
- Scraps of White for the 2″ Circle and tag for the sentiment
Instructions
- Use an Envelope Punch Board and punch at the 3″ mark of a 6″ square paper and score or measure and score the sides as directed below.
- Corner Round the top of treat holder if desired.
- Repeat this 3 times except do not score on the last side.
- Fold and secure the two sides then fold up the bottom and secure with strong adhesive such as tear tape
- Wrap a 1″ strip around the envelope and secure with tape or glue
- Punch out a Decorative Circle from colored cardstock and a 2″ circle from white cardstock
- Layer the circles and decorate as desired.
- I used the Bag of Bones Bundle and Them Bones Paper for mine.
Envelope without a Punch Board
- Mark a 6″ square paper at 2-5/8″ and 3-3/8″ on all 4 sides
- Score from the 2-5/8″ to the 3-3/8″ across the corner of the paper. Do this on 3 sides
- Cut out the 2 spaces where the score lines cross at the bottom
- Fold and secure like above.
