I have seen many examples of this fun fold on the internet but I am taking my inspiration from Lisa Cursio at Lisasstampstudio.com
Measurements
- Paper
- Thick Basic White Cut 4 (1-7/8″ 3-7/8″) and Cut 3 (2-3/4″) squares
- Parakeet Party Cut 2 (8″ x 4″) and cut 3 (2-7/8″) squares
- Delightful Floral Pattern Cut 4 (1-3/4″ x 3-3/4″) and 3 solid or tone on tone (2-5/8″) squares
Instructions
- Score the 2 card bases at 2″, 4″, and 6″
- Mark each end of both bases at 2″ then cut the corners off to the score lines creating arrow points on both ends
- Lay the two pieces out so that the points are pointing toward each other and fold the points back on the score lines. Bump the 2 score lines together forming a diamond in the center. Flip the pieces over and secure the 2 pieces with a low tack piece of tape and flip it back over.
- Glue the Parakeet Party diamonds to the center and the 2 ends
- For the inside panels glue the Patterned *DSP to the white rectangles and then adhere these to the 4 sections behind the diamonds.
- Now construct the layers for these diamonds. Glue the Pretty Peacock to the white diamonds.
- Stamp, color and cut out decorative flowers for each diamond.
- Punch 2 circles and stamp with sentiments and add to the two far end diamonds.
- Add the flowers to the center diamond and the over the 2 circles
