Looking for a fun way to add a little handmade charm to your fall décor? This DIY Fall Paper Banner is easy to make and gets an extra dose of dimension from beautiful accordion-fold paper rosettes! I’m using the gorgeous Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper along with the Party Banner Dies and Alphabet Dies from Stampin’ Up! to create a cheerful banner that’s perfect for a mantel, shelf, or craft room.

The real star of this project is the paper rosette. With just a little scoring and accordion folding, a simple piece of patterned paper becomes a dimensional embellishment that makes the whole banner pop. And once you learn how to make them, you’ll find all kinds of ways to use rosettes for cards, scrapbook pages, party decorations, holiday décor, and more.

For this DIY Fall Paper Banner, I combined the beautiful Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper with the Party Banner Dies and Alphabet Dies to create the pennants, then added dimensional paper rosettes to really make each letter stand out.

Rather than giving you a long list of written instructions, I’d much rather show you how it all comes together. In the video below, I’ll walk you through the project, share my tips for making the rosettes, and show you how I assembled and embellished the finished banner.
