Looking for scrapbook ideas using your Paper Pumpkin kits? This month, I turned the adorable July 2025 “Sweeter with You” kit into a two-page baby shower layout full of strawberries, ribbons, and joy. 🍓
Whether you’re looking to document a sweet event or use your Paper Pumpkin pieces in a new way, this layout is sure to spark some inspiration!
This sweet two-page scrapbook layout was created using the July 2025 Paper Pumpkin kit, “Sweeter with You.” I just loved the soft pinks, fresh greens, and strawberry-themed elements—perfect for documenting a baby shower I hosted for my dear friend Crystal back in 2011.
To build the layout, I started by cutting several of the card bases from the kit into 2-inch squares, then placed them on point (diamond-style) to create decorative borders down the outer edges of each 12×12 page. I alternated between the solid, plaid, and strawberry patterns to create a playful, yet balanced look.
The photos fill the center of the layout with lots of love and personality. I didn’t mat the photos since they stood out well against the white background, but I did add a journaling block printed and mounted on Garden Green cardstock to tie it all together.
For embellishing, I used pieces directly from the kit: the berry basket, die-cut strawberries, and floral elements to add dimension and visual interest. The finishing touch was the large red title made with the Alphabet à la Mode dies: Berry Blessed—a perfect reflection of the joy that filled that day.
It was a bit of a puzzle to get the spacing just right (those diamond borders are tricky!), but I love how it turned out. And the best part? I used up parts of the kit I might not have used otherwise—and now this sweet memory has a permanent home in my scrapbook.
