In this tutorial, I show you how I go from card sketch to card while I explain step by step my creative process in creating this cheery sympathy card.

Card Measurements
- Daffodil Delight cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and scrap 1″ x 3″
- Designer Paper 2″ x 5-1/2″
- Whisper White cardstock 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and 1″ x 3″
- Water color paper 3-1/2″ square
Card Instructions
- Stamp roses and bird with Stazon ink on water color paper then color with water color pencils and aqua painter
- Cut out roses and bird with die
- Stamp sentiment on white strip and cut out with label die
- Cut out a white stitched oval and daffodil lattice detail piece
- Tape designer paper a little to the left of the card base fold
- Adhere the stitched oval in the center top of the card, leaving room at the bottom for the sentiment label
- Attach the daffodil lattice piece on left side of oval
- Use dimensionals to stick roses and bird on top of lattice and oval
- Stick label sentiment with dimensionals under the oval
