Card Sketch 15 A Cheery Sympathy Card

In this tutorial, I show you how I go from card sketch to card while I explain step by step my creative process in creating this cheery sympathy card.

Card Measurements

Daffodil Delight cardstock 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and scrap 1″ x 3″
Designer Paper 2″ x 5-1/2″
Whisper White cardstock 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and 1″ x 3″
Water color paper 3-1/2″ square

Card Instructions

Stamp roses and bird with Stazon ink on water color paper then color with water color pencils and aqua painter
Cut out roses and bird with die
Stamp sentiment on white strip and cut out with label die
Cut out a white stitched oval and daffodil lattice detail piece
Tape designer paper a little to the left of the card base fold
Adhere the stitched oval in the center top of the card, leaving room at the bottom for the sentiment label
Attach the daffodil lattice piece on left side of oval
Use dimensionals to stick roses and bird on top of lattice and oval
Stick label sentiment with dimensionals under the oval
