The Emboss Resist Technique leaves such a stunning impression. In today’s card sketch tutorial I am going to show you step-by-step how it’s done.

Emboss Resist Card Measurements
- Thick Whisper White card base 8-1/2 x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- watercolor paper 5″ x 3-1/2″
- In Color Designer Series Paper – Sea Spray gingham 2 stips 1/2″ x 5″
- Whisper White cardstock 3″ square
- Silver Glimmer Paper 1″ x 6″
Emboss Resist Card Details
- Heat emboss flower, leaves and sentiment on watercolor paper with white embossing powder
- Paint Sea Spray ink all over watercolor paper and wipe away any ink that is sitting on the white embossed areas
- Let dry over night or use heat tool
- Cut large flower from white cardstock
- From the silver glimmer paper cut out small flower and decorative trim
- Put a little Snail adhesive in center of embossed flower and attach silver thread
- Cover thread with large white flower using fine tip glue
- Glue silver flower and trim to card
- Tape gingham paper strips to the top and bottom of the back of the watercolor paper
- Adhere watercolor paper layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card base
