In this tutorial, I explain step by step my creative process in creating this beautiful Ribbon of Courage greeting card from a sketch. You will find the instructions, supply list and a video below.
I am using sketch 6 from my 30 Card Sketches with Examples ebook. Along with the stamp set Ribbon of Courage and Flourish Thinlit dies. I chose the colors Powder Pink, Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick to coordinate with the designer series paper All My Love .

Product ListCard Sketch 6 Measurements
- card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- All My Love DSP 1″ 4-1/4″
- Powder Pink 4-1/2″ x 3″ ribbon, hope and sprigs
- Pear Pizzazz scrap pieces for leaves
- Vellum scrap for leaves
Card Sketch 6 Instructions
- Mask off card base and splatter ink on top portion of card
- Tape All My Love DSP strip to divide splatter from white section
- Cut out leaves and sprigs from Flourish Thinlits and leaf punch
- Stamp Ribbon of Courage and cut out
- Adhere ribbon to back of Ribbon of Courage
- Glue leaves and sprigs to DSP strip so that they will stick out when you attach Ribbon of Courage
- Attach Ribbon of Courage with dimensionals
- Glue “hope” to bottom of card
- Add colored pearls
