Hey there, fellow crafting enthusiasts! ❄️🐻 Today, I’m super excited to share a twist on a classic – the Deckled Circle Gate Fold card, but with a wintry polar bear scene that’s just perfect for this season. Inspired by a gorgeous design I spotted on Pinterest, I’ve put my own Stampin’ Up! spin on it, featuring our fabulous Deckled Circle Dies. This isn’t your everyday gate fold card; we’re shaking things up by swapping traditional rectangles for chic half circles, creating a doorway to a magical winter wonderland. Whether you’re crafting for a specific occasion or just for the joy of it, this project promises to add a sprinkle of frosty charm to your card collection. Measurements
- Pretty Peacock 6″ x 5-1/2″ and 5-1/2″ square for large Deckled Circle
- Basic White 4″ x 5-1/4″ inside and scraps for the stamped images
- Beary Christmas DSP* cut a 6″ squares for 5″ Deckled Circles
- Walk in the Woods DSP* cut a 6″ squares for 5″ Deckled Circles
Instructions
- Cut all the paper according the measurements above
- Score the 6″ x 5-1/2″ at 7/8″ on both ends to create a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ center section
- Use the Basic Border dies and cut a decorative edge on the 7/8″ flaps
- Cut out a 5-1/2″ Deckled Circle from Pretty Peacock and cut it in half
- Glue a half circle to each decorative edge flap and trim
- Cut out 2 DSP 5″ circles and cut them in half. Glue a half to each side of the Pretty Peacock half circles. Check pattern direction before gluing down.
- Stamp the inside white piece and glue in place
- Stamp and cut out Mama bear, Baby bear and scarf and hat.
- Add the Mama bear to the right side of the card with Dimensionals then glue Baby bear next to her
- Stamp 3 Snowflakes and cut out with the 1″ circle die
- You will use a snowflake as a latch to keep the gate closed. First attach 2 snowflakes with Dimensionals one on each gate. Then tuck the third one under the left side snowflake and only glue half of the circle down. The right side of the gate will tuck under it to keep the card closed.
- Add Rhinestones
