The measurements and instructions for this card are listed below.
The corner flip fold is a dramatic fold that is great for an image that can be featured on a 3″ square base. I am making a Summer birthday corner flip card but it can be used for any occasion card.
Corner Flip Fold Measurements
- card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ (Misty Moonlight)
- Designer Paper (DSP) 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ (water print)
- second card stock 2-5/8″ square and 4″ x 5-1/4″ (Night of Navy)
- White card stock 2-1/2″ square and 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Scrap white for seashells
- Crumb Cake scrap for seaweed


Corner Flip Fold Instructions
- Place the 8-1/2″ edge at the 5-1/2″ mark and cut starting at 5/8″ and down to 3″
- Rotate the cardbase counter clockwise and place the cardstock edge ath the 3″ mark and cut starting at 5/8″ and down to 3″
- flip the corner toward you and carefully fold the corner down
Decorate
- Cut a 3″ square out of top right corner of the designer series paper as shown on video
- Attach designer paper to card front and trim excess
- Emboss the 2-1/2″ white square
- Cut out seaweed from Crumb Cake
- Stamp and cut out 3 seashells
- Layer the white and navy squares
- Add seaweed
- Tie white twine around the square layer
- Add seashells
- Adhere seashell square to the corner that is flipped down
- Stamp sentiment in bottom right corner of card front
- Add bling
- Stamp inside white cardstock
- Tape large Navy and white card stock pieces to the inside of the card

Kristina, your card is stunning and I want to CASE it! However, in your Decorate section you say “as shown on the video” which I haven’t found. I’m guessing you mean to cut a 3″ piece out of the upper right hand corner of the DSP. Is that correct? Am I overlooking the video to confirm what you are saying?
