You Found My Alaska Eagle Duck!

Well hello there, friend! 💛
If you’re reading this, it means you found one of my little Alaska eagle ducks out in the wild—and that makes me smile so much!

🚢 THE STORY BEHIND THE DUCKS

People hide ducks on cruise ships to spread spontaneous joy, connect with fellow travelers, and participate in a massive, worldwide scavenger hunt. The tradition—widely known as Cruising Ducks—started around 2018 when a young girl named Abby hidden 50 rubber ducks on a Carnival cruise ship. It has since grown into a massive global phenomenon across almost every major cruise line.

🚢 The Rules of the Game

Public Areas Only: Ducks are only hidden in public spaces like lounges, hallways, atriums, or deck areas.
Strict Off-Limits: Ducks are never hidden in onboard shops (to avoid confusion with merchandise), pools, hot tubs, or areas where wind could blow them into the ocean.

Here is a little about the app I use to hide and find ducks.

Sea Ducks is a fun app created for cruise passengers who love hiding and finding rubber ducks while sailing the seas. What started as a simple cruise tradition has grown into a worldwide game that brings smiles to travelers of all ages!
