It’s fun fold Friday and I want to show you how easy it is to make this floating squares pop-up card.
All measurements and written instructions are listed below the video.

Measurements
- Card base (Basic Gray) 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 2-1/8″ on both side
- Basic Gray squares 2-1/4″ (cut 2)
- Misty Moonlight squares 2-1/8″ (cut 2) and hinge 1″ x 5-1/4″ (cut 2) scored at 1″ , 2″ and 4-1/4″
- Basic White for inside sentiment 1-1/4″ x 3″ and scrap for belly band snowflake
- Beauty of Earth winter trees DSP 4″ x 5-1/4″ and 2″ squares (cut 2)
- Simply Elegant DSP front panels 2″ x 5-3/8″ (cut 2)
- Silver Foil 1″ x 9-1/2″ for belly band and scraps for snowflakes
- Vellum 7/8″ x 3-1/4for belly band sentiment
Instructions
- Cut and score all card stock and DSP (designer series paper)
- Adhere front panel and inside DSP
- Layer squares (Basic Gray, Misty Moonlight and DSP)
- Add adhesive sheet to Silver Foil and cut out snowflakes
- Cut out large white snowflake
- Stamp sentiment on white rectangle in Misty Moonlight and cut flag tail
- Stamp sentiment on vellum in StazOn black ink
- Glue on hinges and squares
- Create belly band

I get a kick out of the way you use the permanent adhesive by pushing it up in the air. However, I had to watch you twice to get all the measurements and advise. Wow! I just love this card. Can’t wait to make it for my great-grandchild only I will be using Fairies. She is going to be 5 next month and loves Fairies. Thank you. You are a great teacher and I enjoy watching you.
