In today’s blog post I have an embossing paste tutorial for you. I am creating this fun sparkly Halloween card using embossing paste, black ink and silver glitter.

Embossing Paste Tutorial Card Details
Cutting measurements
- Basic Black 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Gray Granite 4″ X 5 1/4″
- Crushed Curry 3 3/4″ x 1/2″
- Whisper White 2″ x 2″
- Toil and Trouble DSP 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″
Instructions
- Scoop out a small amount of paste with the palette knife
- Add one drop of black ink and some glitter to the paste and mix
- Place brick wall mask on bottom half of Gray Granite card layer and spread paste mixture with the knife
- Set card layer aside to dry
- Stamp pumpkin on Whisper White with StazOn black ink
- Color pumpkin with watercolor pencils and a blender pen
- Cut pumpkin out
- Stamp “Trick or Treat” to the right side of Crushed Curry strip
- Glue the Crushed Curry strip at top of brick wall background
- Tie Linen Thread around card layer
- Glue DSP to the left side of card layer at a tilt
- Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere pumpkin
- Adhere card layer to Basic Black card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Add 3 black faceted dots for finishing touch
