These are 5 ways to help save time while you are creating cards to send out to your friends and family.
Tip 1 – Pre-cut your paper
- cut pack of 8-1/2″ x 11″ card stock in half to make card bases
- cut 12″ x 12″ paper into 4″ x 6″ pieces
- have all the pieces to a card design pre-cut before you put your card together, especially if you are creating a lot of the same cards.
Tip 2 – Mount all the stamp images to acrylic blocks
- cleaning the stamp, taking it off the block and sticking the next stamp on takes a lot of time especially if you have many stamps for one card
- invest in many different size blocks
- use a stamp positioning tool
Tip 3 – Punches instead of Dies
- die machines take extra time
Tip 4 – Abstract coloring
- instead of detail coloring just throw some ink on the image with a watercolor brush or abstract stamp
