More Treating and less Ticking! Who doesn’t love treats at Halloween? In this tutorial I’m going to show you how easy it is to make this Halloween gift bag and matching card.

Bag Measurements

  • 6″ x 12″ designer paper – I glued 2 6″ squares together and colored with Bumblebee and blender brush
  • 3-1/2″ square in coordination cardstock

Then glue the tabs to create a shallow box

  • Put adhesive along one 12″ edge and and 6″ edge of the designer paper
  • Wrap the paper around the shallow box creating a bag
  • Seal the 6″ end where it lands after wrapping the box
  • Attach 2 handles 1/2″ x 5-1/2″ coordinating cardstock

Decorate the front of the bag

  • Wrap Black gingham ribbon around the bag and secure with a bow
  • Cut out a Bumblebee circle
  • Stamp sentient on white strip
  • Stamp and cut out broom in Cinnamon
  • Stamp and cut out cat on White Velvet paper. (it takes a little bit to dry)
  • Adhere sentiment, broom and cat on Bumblebee circle
  • Stamp bat above cat
  • Attach circle with foam strip

I love creating beautiful handmade cards and want to share that love with you. I believe expressing our creativity with handmade cards can make a difference in this world by making it a happier place. I created this blog to help you make a difference with your creativity too.

I discovered cardmaking just a few years ago. It all started when a friend of mine invited me over to make cards on a Friday night. There were 3 other ladies there. We had a great time creating beautiful cards together all evening. I was hooked! I started dreaming of my own home filled with friends making these beautiful cards. And so I started my business Creating with Kristina.

I am a retired middle school math teacher. I am married and have 3 step-daughters and 8 grandchildren that call me Nana. I love cats and have 2. Their names are Diamond and Merlin. You will periodically see them in my videos and pictures and I love sharing them on Instagram. Contact Me
