My project is from the new stamp set Daisy Delight that also has a coordinating Daisy Punch and beautiful designer paper.
I picked this project simply because I just love daisies! There is something so wonderful about a field of daisies on a bright summer day. They are so cheerful and bright.
A Field of Daisies
Daisies in the open field
Are blowing in the wind.
I want to walk into the middle,
But I don’t give in.
Some are white with yellow centers
And have a dewy glow.
Others have brown centers
With petals of gold that show.
I’d pick a single flower and
Hope the petals will know,
If he loves me; it may be yes,
Or maybe it will be no.
But I don’t want to disturb God’s beauty
By picking a single flower.
With beautiful sunshine on them,
Many will be delighted this hour.
So join me by closing your eyes
And picturing a field of green,
With daisies, white and yellow blowing
In the breeze with gleam.
