Happy Fun Fold Friday, friends! This week I’m sharing one of my favorite techniques yet — the accordion double diamond fun fold — made up in the prettiest fall colors using our brand-new Simply Leaves stamp set and the gorgeous Glow of Harvest designer paper. If you love fall cards with a little extra “wow” factor when your recipient opens them, this one is for you.
This accordion fun fold card is easier than it looks — it all comes down to remembering one simple number sequence when you’re scoring your card base (I’ll never let you forget it: 2-4-6-8!). From there, you’re just folding back and forth accordion-style to create dimension, adding two on-point diamond panels, and layering in some sweet little stamped and punched leaves. The result is a card that feels so much more special than a flat card, but doesn’t require any fancy tools beyond your Stylish Shapes dies and a bone folder.
