Happy second Sunday in Lent. Today’s devotional verse is a little too long to fit in the journaling space of my Bible so I just took the first phrase. In the Bible journaling community you may see people who paint and journal all over the Bible page, but I like to be able to see the scripture so I can read where the verse came from. Just my preference.
Last week I shared with you that I trace so my Bible journaling is nice and neat. Today I want to show you what I mean.
The space in my journaling Bible is 2 inches by 7.5 inches. So I create a image box that size in my digital scrapbook software (Artisan 5) Then I add a text box and digital art to fit that space. Finally I print it.
After covering my Bible page with matte gel and letting it dry, I place the printer paper under the Bible page I want to journal. Then trace. It really is easy.

I hope you are enjoying the Lenten season. Do you Bible journal? I’d love to see it. Let me know in the comments below.
God bless and keep creating,
Kristina
