In this tutorial, I show you how I save money on card making supplies as I explain step by step my creative process in creating this beautiful get well card from a card sketch. You will find the instructions, supply list and a video below.
I am using sketch 12 from my 30 Card Sketches with Examples ebook. With this card I am showcasing the Stampin’ Up! Healing Hugs stamp set as well as our embossing paste and back ground masks.

Card Measurements
- Card base Thick Whisper White 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4
- Whisper White cardstock scraps to stamp rose and leaves, 1″ strip for sentiment and card layer 4″ x 5-1/4″
Card Details
- Mix Embossing paste with Dazzling Diamond glitter and Grey Granite ink
- Use the putty knife to smear paste over Medallion mask on card layer
- Stamp rose and leaves on white scrap and fussy cut out
- Color White satin ribbon with Blends marker
- Once card layer is dry wrap ribbon and tape to the back
- Loop a strand of sequins and tie with piece of ribbon and attach to card with a glue dot
- Attach rose and sentiment with Stampin Dimensionals
- glue leaves tucked under rose
- Attach entire layer with Stampin Dimensionals to card base
