Do you have large geometric shape dies and not sure the best way to use them on your cards? Well in todays tutorial I want to share with you how I incorporate these large shapes on my cards.
Here is the 18th card sketch in the series using my ebook 30 Card Sketches with Examples . I am using the stamp set, framelits, designer series paper and colors from our Bird Ballad Suite found on page 91 in the new 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Catalog.

Card Sketch 18 Measurements
- Thick Whisper White 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-14″ and 3″ x 5″
- Petal Pink 3″ square
- Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper DSP 4″ x 5-1/4″
Card Sketch 18 Details
- Stamp birds on a branch on thick cardstock and color with Stampin’ Blends
- Cut out birds with largest stitched nesting die
- Tape DSP to card base
- Glue birds on a branch to card base letting a couple inches hang off the left side and trim
- Stamp small flower on this trimmed off piece, color and fussy cut
- Stamp sentiment on Petal Pink cardstock and cut out with scalloped circle
- Tie a bow with lace trim and tack to bottom of sentiment circle with glue dot
- Attach scalloped circle and flower with Stampin’ Dimensionals
