Time for Easter eggs, Easter baskets, egg hunts, Easter bunny, baby chicks! Time to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I love this time of year!
Easter Day is one my favorite days of the year. It is such a joyful day and I love to spend it with my family and so I invite them all over for a special Easter dinner after church. I prepare a traditional Easter menu complete with ham and all the fixings.
Family meal gathering on the holidays is a tradition found all over the world. Also there have been thousands of articles written on the importance of the family meal. The articles cover everything from building relationships, healthier eating, improved academic performances, relieving stress and even saving money. But the reason I like to get the family together is it gives me an excuse to set a fancy table!
When I saw these adorable mini Easter egg cartons I knew they would make the perfect place settings of my Easter table. After decorating them I filled them with yummy treats.
This is a simple project. First I printed out Happy Easter in two different fonts on Whisper White card stock. I spaced them out to give enough room to cut them out using the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies. Second I cut out different colored eggs using the Basket Bunch Dies and different colored flowers with Succulent Thinlit Dies. After I cut everything out I glued it all down and added some Rhinestones to the flowers and wrapped them with ribbon.
Are you having your family over for Easter dinner? Why not create these cute mini Easter egg cartons for your table too!
