Today’s Fun Fold has a lot of extra steps but you are going to love it. In the video I show you step by step how to create the 3 Peaks card. Plus I have a downloadable with the template measurements included.

Download the complete instructions HERE

Measurements

  • 144245 Lemon Lime Twist 10″ x 7″, 1″ x 3″ and 1″ x 7″
  • 159276 Basic White 4-1/2″ square, scrap for circle
  • 161449 Bright & Beautiful DSP (Designer Series Paper) 4-1/2″square, 4″ x 6″ and 4″ x 6″ (nondirectional design is easiest)
  • Scrap Cardstock to create templates 1-7/8″ x 6-1/8″ and 2-3/4″ x 6-1/8″

Instructions

  • Score the card base in half to create two 5″ x 7″ sections
  • Mark 5″ up both 7″ sides and connect the dots lightly with a pencil
  • Mark 2-1/2″ in from both sides of the pencil line and draw a line up to the center
  • Cut from the top center down to the 2-1/2″ mark on both side and erase remaining pencil line
  • Now score from the bottom center to both the 5″ mark and 2-1/2″ on both sides, creating 5 score lines including thecenter
  • Accordion fold creating 3 peaks
  • Cut the white 4-1/2 square in half along the diagonal and glue on the back for writing
  • Cut the DSP 4-1/2″ square in half along the diagonal and glue to the outside sides of the right and left peaks
  • Use smaller templates to cut out triangles for outside peaks and larger templates for center peak (see second page of PDF above)
  • Punch out Decorative circle from Lemon Lime Twist and Stamp and punch out 2″ circle from white for the sentiment.
  • Layer the circles with dimensionals
  • Score the 1″ x 3″ strip at 1/2″, 1″, 2″, and 2-1/2″ Fold to create a place for the circle and glue the circle. Be sure to havethe piece snug up against the peak fold so it will lay flat in the envelope.
  • Sign your card on the back before you attach the support bar if desired.
  • Score the 1″ x 7″ strip at 1/2″, 3-1/2″ and 6-1/2″ and secure to the back of the card for support.
  • Add bling and other decorative pieces.
