Welcome to We Love our Hosts Blog Hop. In this hop you will find projects made from the new host stamp sets which are only available to those that host an event with their demonstrator. It can be a home class or online class. Being a host is also a great way to earn free product!
You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog Creating with Kristina or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you can see all the projects. At the moment you are visiting KRISTINA REES.
One last thing. If you see any products that you like, you can purchase them in my shop. You can find the link to my shop in the menu bar above or at the end of this post.
And now on to the Blog Hop.
According to State Farm only 36% of people know the name of their neighbors! How sad is that!? Actually it is very sad. I moved to the neighborhood almost 3 years ago now and only know a few people who live here. I want to change that and I know it begins with me. This week I’ve been given a chance. The house across from me just sold and I’d like to introduce myself to my new neighbor. But I have to admit I am a little nervous. So I did some research (hello Pinterest) to come up with a way without being too intrusive or rude.
How I introduced myself to my new neighbor
I make cards for a living and one of Stampin’ Up!’s new Host stamp sets got me inspired. How about make a welcome to the neighborhood card? And then I thought what about a home-baked treat as well. Who doesn’t like chocolate chip cookies?
So I created this card and brought it over with some home-baked chocolate chip cookies. Gandhi said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” I’m sure he was talking about chocolate chip cookies!
Do you know your neighbors? If not, make them a card and some cookies and go introduce yourself?
The new In the City stamp set is one of our exclusive stamp sets available to our hosts in this year’s catalog. If you would like to earn this set contact me about hosting a party either on line or at home.
Remember, do more of what makes you happy!

Thank you Amy! Going over to meet meet my neighbor was fun. She is a few years younger than me and so sweet.
