Is checking the mailbox still one of life’s little joys for you? There’s something about finding a handwritten note waiting there instead of just bills and ads — it makes the whole day feel a little brighter.
These six birthday cards are the second batch from a card-making challenge I gave myself back in 2017, my first year as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. My goal was simple: send real, handmade mail to the family and friends I love, one card at a time.
If you missed the first six, you can see Cards 1-6 here. Today I’m sharing Cards 7-12.

Looking back, I can see how much my style has grown since these cards — but I still love what this challenge taught me: a little consistency goes a long way, and the best mail is the kind made by hand.
If you’re looking for a fun way to build your own card-making confidence, try picking one stamp set and seeing how many birthday cards you can create with it. You might be surprised what a difference a few days of practice makes.
Love these ideas? Pin this post for later so you’ll have a little birthday card inspiration ready when you need it.

And remember—the best part of making cards is sending them! Create • Connect • Encourage someone with a handmade card. 💕
