Inking Up Your Embossing Folder – 12 Cards of Fall

During the season of thanks, I am challenging myself and you to make and send cards to our family and friends and tell them how thankful we are to have them in our lives.

In this video I am showing you how I created this card by inking up my embossing folder with shimmering copper ink.

Card Measurements

• Cajun Craze card base 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and 2-3/4″ square-
• Whisper White 3-3/4″ x 5″
• Merry Merlot 2″ square
• Sahara Sand 3″ square
• Gather Together Designer paper – Cajun Craze Leaves 2″ x 4″
• Copper Foil paper 2″ square

Card Details

• Ink up wood plank embossing folder and emboss 3-3/4″ x 5″ white cardstock
• Stamp maple leaf in black on Cajun cardstock
• Cut both stamped maple leaf and blank Merlot cardstock
• Stamp “Season of Thanks” in bottom right corner of Sand cardstock
• Glue wood embossed cardstock on cardbase
• Glue merlot leaf designer paper in center of wood plank layer 1/4″ from left edge
• Glue Sand cardstock in center of merlot leaf paper 1/4″ from left edge
• Sponge copper ink on smaller embossed leaf
• Glue leaves together
• Tie a bow with linen thread and attach to leaves with glue dot
• Stick leaves on with Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Don’t forget inside and envelope
