Vintage Leaves with Watercolor Background Thank You Card

It may be August but one walk into a local craft store and you’d swear it was October! Pumpkins and leaves and scarecrows! Oh my!

Fall is my favorite time of year and orange is my favorite color. I’m an October baby and so is it any wonder I’m ready to get my fall on.

For the background I used the water color technique I wrote about a few days ago. If you missed it you can see it HERE.

I stamped the leaves on Whisper White cardstock in Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight ink and cut them out using my Big Shot. The “Thank You” sentiment is from the Daisy Delight stamp set.

Most people find it so much easier to get that wow factor with the focal images cut out and popped up on dimensionals and the Leaflet dies make it so easy. If you want your leaves to pop you will definitely want to get the Leaflet thinlits along with the stamp set.
